This third unit of the Mangusta Oceano 50, a megayacht measuring 49.9 meters with a gross tonnage of 499 GT, boasts the most expansive living spaces on board. Recently launched in Pisa, it features a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure. The Mangusta Oceano 50 is a collaborative effort between Overmarine Group’s technical offices, designer Alberto Mancini, and P.L.A.N.A. Design Studio.
Exterior of the Megayacht
The Mangusta Oceano 50 boasts spacious living areas that effortlessly blend indoor and outdoor spaces. Large glass windows and a vast beach area further this integration, ensuring a direct connection with the ocean. Three doors unfold to form three terraces that interconnect over the water. The forward section showcases its robust technological core. Positioned above the garage, the linear and roomy cockpit, when devoid of the tender, leads to a 6.5 x 2.6-meter pool with a jacuzzi and a counter-current swimming feature. A second pool finds its place on the Sun Deck.
Interior of the Mangusta Oceano 50
The owner’s suite spans 52 square meters and is on the main deck. It features an exclusive automated sea-facing balcony. Five guest cabins, including a separate access “V.I.P.” cabin, are all located on the Lower Deck. The interior design team tailored the interior and exterior designs according to the owner’s specifications.
Onboard Innovations
Two MTU 12V 2000 M86 engines power this megayacht, each producing 1700 hp. It can reach up to 16 knots and handle oceanic crossings effortlessly. Currently, six more vessels from the Mangusta Oceano series are under construction in the Pisa shipyards. The first unit was unveiled last year at the Monaco Yacht Show. The second ship of this series won the “Best of Show” at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The Mangusta Oceano series vessels available for purchase are the Mangusta Oceano 44 (summer 2025) and the Mangusta Oceano 50 (summer 2026).
